The basis of On Special Request is Honor and Integrity... the belief of quality over quanitity. We do not outsource, all products are designed and built here, where passion and pride in craftsmanship rule. We are enthusiastic to be part of the "Made in America Movement."

I've always been interested in games, I've spent close to 15 years in the video game industry, and a few years after we moved into our new house, I decided to unpack all my shop tools (they had veen collecting dust in the boxes for years), and over time, my attention/focus turned away from the Xbox & PS2, and towards the drill-press and band saw. The idea of making cribbage boards for friends and family seemed like a good idea to take it a step further.

Much of the work is still done by hand, and some is performed on a CNC Mill machine that is owned (and built) by Sterling Software LLC. On Special Request is up and running!
